Thursday we had the fascinating Philip Leese Halloween talk about ‘Staffordshire Folklore’. A room full of visitors heard tales of ghostly ghouls, spectral spirits and headless ladies, all delivered with Philips sense of fun and wonderment.
Our next talk at the Philip Astley Centre is on 13 November when David Hulse will be talking about the first Staffordshire Commercial Steam Engine.
